📬 Other Ways to Reach Us
Prefer email over forms? Write to us directly at contact@nostalgiaflation.com. We read every message personally — no auto-responders, no ticket queues, no canned replies. Whether you spotted an error in our CPI data, want to share a price story from your hometown, request a new currency or city, or simply say hello, the same inbox reaches the small team behind NostalgiaFlation.
For business, partnership, or media enquiries, please include the words "Press" or "Partnership" in your subject line so we can route it correctly. Educators, researchers, and journalists who want to cite our datasets are welcome to request raw CSV exports — we provide them free of charge for non-commercial use.
❓ Frequently Asked Questions
Where does your data come from?
We use official Consumer Price Index (CPI) data from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) for INR, along with the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) for USD, Eurostat for EUR, and the National Bureau of Statistics of China for CNY. Historical pre-1958 figures are stitched from RBI working papers and the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation. We refresh our datasets every month after the official CPI release and stamp each chart with the publication date so you can verify freshness.
Can I use this for other countries or currencies?
Yes — we currently support INR (India), USD (USA), EUR (Eurozone), and CNY (China), and we're actively building out GBP, JPY, AED, SGD, and AUD. If a currency is critical to your work, drop us a note via the form and we'll bump it up the queue.
I found a bug or wrong number — how do I report it?
Please use the form above and include the page URL, the input values you used, and what you expected versus what you saw. A screenshot helps enormously. We triage bug reports within 48 hours and almost always patch within a week.
How long until I hear back?
Most messages get a personal reply within 1–3 business days (Mon–Fri, IST). Bug reports and accessibility issues jump the queue. If you've waited longer than a week, your email may have hit a spam filter — please resend or try the contact form, which routes through our server directly.
Do you accept guest posts or sponsored content?
We do not publish sponsored articles, paid links, "guest posts," or AI-generated content under our byline. Every blog post and tutorial on NostalgiaFlation is researched and written by our small team. If you're a credentialed economist, financial planner, or subject-matter expert who wants to collaborate on an original piece, we'd love to hear your pitch — please mention your background and proposed angle.
Can I republish your charts or share screenshots?
Yes, with attribution. Personal social shares, classroom use, and editorial republishing are all welcome — please credit "NostalgiaFlation.com" and link back to the page. For commercial licensing, custom data feeds, or white-labelled embeds, get in touch and we'll work something out.
What should I not email about?
Please avoid sending personal financial details, account numbers, identity documents, or tax records — we have no way to protect that information at our end and we'll ask you to delete it. We also can't give individual investment advice; for that, please consult a SEBI-registered financial planner.
Is my submission private?
Yes. Form submissions are stored on our own server (no third-party form processors), are not used for marketing, and are deleted after we close out the conversation. See our Privacy Policy for the full data-handling details.
